KUBA COLLECTION

Palme’s Kuba Pillow Collection honors one of Africa’s most imaginative textile traditions. Each Kuba panel begins with raffia palm leaves, meticulously prepared, dyed, woven, and hand-embroidered by artisans of the Kuba Kingdom. The distinctive geometric motifs carry stories and traditions passed down through generations; no two compositions are ever precisely alike.

Palme sources these remarkable textiles directly, pairing them with fine Italian linens and hand-stitched welting in supple leather or natural raffia. Bold, tactile, and unmistakably handcrafted, each pillow transforms an extraordinary piece of Kuba cloth into a singular, graphic work of art.
